Three days of conferences and meetings of WMF

The World Meetings Forum came to an end in Los Cabos after three days of conferences, panels, and spaces where different meetings planners from around the world were able to network in the spectacular Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos.

The panelists were a group of people trained and specialized in each range, from secretaries of tourism, recognized magicians who caught the attention of the attendees and taught what are the best tricks to keep the audience captive, even Michael Dominguez, Senior Vice President of MGM Resorts International and Teresa Salazar, Marketing Director of Polaris in Mexico.

The conference’s topics were among others: how to sell an idea to the millennial generation, how to organize events by being aware of the environmental impact with proposals to reduce the use of plastic and create a vegetarian menu, and the importance of creating events that appeal to emotions.

There was also talk of the importance of creating experiences, of producing moments that take your breath away and always being at the avant-garde, that is, of changing to the trends of the moment and not remaining obsolete.

The last conference was an entertaining talk among three women. One of them, Odett Latapi of the Cisco company, has created events of up to 6,000 people! On the other hand, Daniela Loera is the Marketing Director of Ferrari, and her job is to sell cars of 10 million pesos and above; also, Teresa Salazar, Marketing Director of Polaris, talked about how they sell that “experience” of adventure to their customers.

At the end of the day, space became a cocktail accompanied by an exquisite buffet, with a duo of the American juggling and comedy professionals Jon Wee and Owen Morse. The two friends gave an incredible show to close three days that gave business proposals, public relations, and tools to create Marvelous Meetings!
