   Nobu Hotel Los Cabos
Created by Japanese celebrity Chef “Nobu” Matsuhisa and Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro, Nobu Hotel opened in April as a 200- room hideaway that oozes Japanese minimalist style. The white-washed hotel, fronting a pristine beach on the Pacific, fuses architectural elegance and laid-back luxury. Set within the 1,500-acre resort community of Diamante, the hotel offers guests exclusive access to the club’s otherwise- private golf courses. Nobu Restaurant features seafood dishes created especially for this new gastronomic outpost.
A stylish all-inclusive beachfront hotel, Grand Velas already had an impressive art collection when it opened in 2016, notably the whimsical bronze sculptures in the public areas. But now the hotel houses a dedicated Art Gallery curated by Patricia Mendoza, a well-known gallery owner based in San Jose del Cabo. The spacious, well-lit gallery, opened in April, will display the work of up to four artists. Exhibitions will rotate every couple of months. The Art Gallery is open to the public. Hotel guests can even partake of scheduled Art-to-Table dining experiences in the gallery.
