Dibujando Nuestros Sueños A.C.
Over a span of 11 years promoting the rights of the child, Dibujando Nuestros Sueños has used ludic, or spontaneous play, as a main education tool to motivate each child to find the best in him or herself. At the same time, the organization develops the skills necessary to build a sustainable life and face current and future challenges. An emphasis is placed on the values of respect, solidarity, and care for the environment and gender equality to face current and future challenges.
Through the program “Human Development for Everyone,” created by Dr. Jorge Bucay, the learning process is active, personal, experiential and individual, but not solitary. Learning is oriented towards the construction of a harmonious and cooperative coexistence, compatible with greater responsibility and a better quality of life.
Mission:
Promote the integral development of children and adolescents, promote respect for human rights, contribute to their constant growth, and be an active member of society that is committed to building a better world.
Vision:
The establishment of a self-sustainable organization with a high degree of human sensitivity that is committed to the construction of a more just world and recognized nationally and internationally for the effort.
Resources are currently earmarked for the construction of the Alternative Educational Center “El Mundo de Dibu” in Cabo San Lucas. The center will feature a variety of spaces, including:
- Orchard
- Farm
- Children’s dining room
- Kitchen
- Library and game room
- Spiritual terrace
- Arts room
- Entrepreneurship and innovation room
- Ludo-mathematics classroom
- Health clinic
