Baja California Sur is nominated for the “Best of Mexico 2023” awards!

Mexico’s natural and cultural wealth and the beauty of its people, places, and traditions are unparalleled. The fifth edition of “The Best of Mexico 2023,” which celebrates the best experiences, itineraries, adventures, spectacular memories, and destinations, is presented by Mexico Desconocido as a tribute to the nation’s alluring diversity and hospitality.

This year, the nominees have been selected based on the number of searches made within the various Mexico Desconocido sites. To ensure fair voting in this contest, a committee of experts selects the categories based on the number of visitors to these contents, and Baja California Sur competes in four categories:

  • Best Magic Town for an unforgettable getaway : Nominee: Loreto
  • Best sporting event in a stunning setting : Nominated: Fishing tournaments in Los Cabos and Baja 1000.
  • Best Destination Weddings in Natural Settings : Nominee: Todos Santos
  • The state I wish to discover the most in 2023.

These votes are intended to evaluate factors like: originality and authenticity, details about the host locations, including cleanliness, environmental friendliness, sustainability, rootedness in traditions, preservation of cultural heritage, support for the regional economy, and infrastructure for tourism.

Voting closes on March 15th, 2023! Vote here: The Best of Mexico 2023
