Aquí la escasez de lluvia afecta a las plantas y necesitan luchar intensamente por vivir. Como resultado de la prolongada sequía, gran cantidad de cactus cardones exponen sus esqueletos y muestran hasta donde están secos y van muriendo, mientras unos cuantos árboles de yuca levantan su cabeza hacia las alturas y otros dejan caer las suyas a la tierra.

Here the scarcity of rain makes plants struggle mightily just to stay alive. As the result of prolonged droughts, the Cardon cactus have exposed roots and appear to be dying. At the same time, some yucca trees lift their shaggy heads towards the sky while others droop theirs to the ground.
