Jack has been involved in the design of more than 380 golf courses worldwide, of which he personally designed approximately 290. Palmilla is the first Jack Nicklaus signature design in Latin America.

Roy Dye (+) 

Born in Urbana, Ohio. Graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Yale University with a degree in chemical engineering.

A family man, Roy joined his brother Pete in 1969 in the golf course design business. Roy often involved his sons in the design process to get all the work done. Cabo San Lucas Country Club was his last project.

Tom Fazio

Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Opened his design firm in 1972. Won numerous acknowledgments and awards as a leading modern golf course architect. Querencia is Tom Fazio´s first project in México.

Robert Trent Jones Jr.

Born in Montclair, New Jersey. Earned a degree in geology and a master’s degree in history from Yale. 

Started out by working at his father’s company. Robert Jones Jr. is member of California’s Golf Hall of Fame. He started his own business, “Robert Trent Jones II, Golf Architects,” in 1972. Over a 40-year career, he has designed 230 golf courses in more than 40 countries.

“I am considered to have a complex, electric and wide ranging architectural style.”

Tom Weskopt

Born in Massillon, Ohio. Known worldwide for having the most elegant golf swing.

Career reached its peak in 1973 by winning seven championships, including the British Open. Tom began designing golf courses in 1985 in partnership with Jay Morris. After having built 60 courses, he started his own firm “Tom Weskopf Designs.”

“My primary goal is to use creativity to make each golf course an unforgettable experience.”

American architect and landscape designer.

Founding principal of “Arthur Hills & Forrest international Golf Course Architects” With over 40 years of experience, he is responsible for designing more than 185 golf courses around the world.”

Greg Norman

Born in Mount Isa, Australia. Called the “Great White Shark.” Spent several years as an amateur player and PGA trainee in Australia before turning professional in 1976. Has won 91 championships.

“Greg Norman Golf Design” was established in 1987. The firm has designed 77 golf courses worldwide.

“Golf course design is one of my true passions in life. Each project gives me the opportunity to create a new course with its own unique character.”

Davis Love III

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Has won more than 25 tournaments worldwide, including the PGA Championship in 1997.

What began as a childhood dream became a reality when “Love Golf Design” was created in 1994. Davis gets involved in each stage of the course construction and operates under the philosophy of respecting the land and building a course that maintains the tradition of the game.

“Modern golf courses should be designed in the traditional way, with an emphasis on strategy and playability and where creativity is reflected in a subtle design.”

Gary Player

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Obtained an honorary law degree at Saint Andrew, Scotland. Won nine major tournaments. In 2012, became the first international player to receive the “PGA Tour’s Lifetime Achievement Award.” Named “African Sportsman of the Century” in 2000. 

Nicknamed the “Black Knight” for wearing black in tournaments. In the early 80’s founded “Gary Player Designs” with the mission of running a business with the same dedication he employed in the field. Gary has designed more than 325 golf courses in 35 countries.

“As golf course designer, one of my main concerns is to always create harmony and beauty in a course.”
