The most important international fair of the travel meeting industry announced the participation of Los Cabos in order to promote the destination to the European market. For the first time in this edition, there will be an independent pavilion for the Sudcalifornian destination, being the only Mexican place to have this space.
The event will take place today, Tuesday, May 31 until Thursday, June 2, and will be attended by 180 business meetings and more than 10 group training sessions with strategic partners. The participation of Rodrigo Esponda, general director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA), in the Policy Forum stands out, a space where leaders from different destinations meet to share experiences on trends, best practices, and the opportunity to join forces around the meetings industry.
The presence of Los Cabos has been carried out thanks to the support of the private initiative via the Private Trust for the Tourism Promotion of Los Cabos (FIPROTUR), in collaboration with the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA), both seek to promote and position the South Californian land as a destination that has the capacity and infrastructure to host international business meetings.
Very soon, on July 18, the first Madrid-Los Cabos flight operated by Iberojet will arrive, “The new route from Madrid will help connect the German market with Los Cabos. There are a large number of corporations in Frankfurt that have business in Mexico in the technology, banking, insurance, and automotive sectors, among others, which means an opportunity to bring incentive programs to the destination,” said Carmen Cecilia Villanueva Bracho, Ambassador Consul. of Mexico in Frankfurt.
Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort, Villas & Golf, IVI DMC Enterprises, A Hosts Global Member, Maritur DMC Los Cabos Mexico, and Mexico Planners DMC will attend a meeting as part of the Los Cabos representation at IMEX Frankfurt.
