The planned work with industry partners is a fundamental part of this positioning strategy, and this occasion involves more than 45 meetings with wholesalers, luxury travel brokers, and airline representatives.
“Colombia is a country that is very close to Mexico and has shown significant growth in the tourism segment in recent years. In the case of Los Cabos, due to the significant increase in the number of visitors, we will receive during 2022, we see the potential to generate new connectivity options between both markets. Furthermore, with the marketing and promotion strategies that we are promoting, we will be able to consolidate the destination’s presence to continue attracting more and more tourists from Colombia”. said Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA).
FITURCA has prepared a robust work agenda focused on individual meetings with the leading wholesalers in the Colombian market, such as: Aviatur, Fuerza Delta/Chapinero Viajes, and Viajes Pelícano, among others, as well as meetings with the media and airlines, including Copa Airlines and Viva Aerobus.
This commitment is achieved by: participating in significant international industry events, attracting more tourists, finding a window to promote a wide range of services and experiences, from luxury to adventure, and providing unique stays to different traveller profiles in emerging markets like Colombia.
