In coordination with CRIT and Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, the Loreto H.X City Hall continues to hold Health Days for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation prioritizes promoting, strengthening, and enhancing programs that support the health and welfare of children and adolescents in Baja California Sur, including Loreto. They provide financial support and strategic guidance in coordination with government institutions, which greatly benefits the children in Loreto.
The head of Municipal DIF, Dora Elda Oropeza Villlejo, explained that workshops allowed Loreto’s children to undergo encephalogram studies for Autism Spectrum Disorder Detection, as Dr. Monica Balderas Minor, a pediatric neurologist, requested.
As directed by Mayor Paola Davis, the municipal DIF of Loreto is constantly working to provide health services to more families.
