Enjoying a delicious gastronomic evening is exquisite, but it’s even better if it benefits a foundation!
During the event, Elva Haro, the Executive Director of Liga MAC, expressed her gratitude towards the attendees for their dedication to the local community. She particularly appreciated the enthusiastic response of the students who have made the most of the academic opportunities provided by the foundation. Furthermore, she extended an invitation to visit the new Educational Center. This centre offers various programs, orientation sessions, student and family counselling, and ceremonies to celebrate students’ achievements.
The following restaurants and chefs have joined a great cause by preparing different recipes with local produce and food pairings: Angel and Edgar Carbajal from Nicksan, Alex Branch from Las Venenosas, Elena Sors from Gourmet 911 Mexico, Kris Abush from TABA BBQ, Abraham Tamez from AKASHA, Roger Matín from Casa Martín, Tadd Chapman and Daniel Berúmen from Habanero’s, Ibrahim Amaya from Marisquería Cerritos Tropical, and Armando Montaño from Mestizo Rosticería.
The renowned restaurateurs collaborated to provide a gastronomic experience to raise funds for the Liga MAC’s educational support program.
Students from the foundation were present and responsible for registering the donations until the thermometer reached the goal.
As the sun started to set, the ambience of Baja Luna came to life, with the moon in the sky painted in shades of red, orange, and soft blue. The guests didn’t think twice to capture the moment with a photograph, while the donations to support the educational program kept increasing.
The night was a resounding success for Liga MAC!
