The Organizing Committee of the second edition of the Mexican Wine Festival in Los Cabos held a press conference at Cabo Wabo Cantina to share details of the upcoming edition.
The Second Mexican Wine Festival will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Cortijo Carmen Aida, located at Camino Real Predio La Reforma, Camino a Las Animas, and Club Ecuestre, 23400 San Jose del Cabo. This festival celebrates the growing Mexican wine industry and its remarkable development in recent years.
On 5 October, Mexico will pay tribute to its thriving wine industry and the regions of the country that produce world-class wines, from Ensenada’s vineyards to the Chihuahua wineries, San Luis Potosí, San Miguel de Allende, Querétaro, Baja California Sur, Aguascalientes, and Coahuila, among others. Mexico has stood out as an essential producer of quality wines.
On this special day, we celebrate the passion and hard work of Mexican producers by sharing their exceptional creations with our community. This edition of the festival will feature 115 labels from more than 45 wineries, offering a wide sample of the richness and diversity of our wines.
The festival is also proud to support the Los Cabos Rotary Club’s Scholarship Programme. This programme provides educational resources and opportunities to young students from elementary school through university, with the goal of preventing them from dropping out of school. One of the programme’s most outstanding students is currently on a scholarship abroad.
In addition, the festival collaborates with the San José del Cabo Shriner’s Club, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children in Los Cabos and Baja California Sur facing severe medical conditions. The Shriners facilitate free treatment at specialised hospitals outside the state or country, ensuring these children receive the necessary medical care.
