All are set to compete in the World Wide Technology Championship on November 4, 2024.

Defending champion and World Wide Technology Ambassador Erik van Rooyen will return to Los Cabos to lead a group of players competing in the 18th edition of the World Wide Technology Championship November 4-10, 2024, at El Cardonal Golf Course in Diamante-Cabo San Lucas.

The 120-player field will include past champions such as Harris English (2013), Charley Hoffman (2014), Patton Kizzire (2017) and Matt Kuchar (2018). In addition, we will see Camilo Villegas, runner-up in the 2023 edition and winner of a PGA TOUR event just a week after being beaten by Erik van Rooyen on the final hole, where he holed a dramatic eagle.

Five Mexicans will participate in the tournament by qualifying in different ways, led by Raul Pereda, a member of the PGA TOUR. In the Mexican golfers-only event, Santiago de la Fuente secured first place thanks to his victory in the Mexican Qualifier presented by National Car Rental on October 8, 2024. Isidro Benitez earned his place in the field by being crowned champion of the Mexico Match Play on October 9, 2024. Emilio Gonzalez and Omar Morales earned sponsor exemptions to compete in the annual PGA TOUR event.

Other World Wide Technology Ambassadors joining van Rooyen are Keith Mitchell, Ben Griffin, Harry Higgs, Justin Suh, Austin Eckroat and Luke Donald. At the same time, Diamond Ambassador Taylor Montgomery will also join them in the field.

In conjunction with the PGA TOUR and the PGA of America’s Southern California Section, the tournament committee will host the Monday Open Qualifier in Los Cabos on November 4, 2024, at Palmilla Golf Club’s Arroyo/Mountain Course. As is tradition on the PGA TOUR, the final spots in the field will be awarded to the top four players from the Monday Open Qualifier Tournament.

The Monday Open Qualifier, with a field of 72 golfers, is open to all professional or amateur players who meet specific handicap requirements. Those who do not have an exemption must participate in one of the pre-qualifying tournaments to be held in Southern California and Los Cabos.

The PGA TOUR is the stage for the world’s best golfers competing on the world’s most iconic golf courses, and as part of the FedExCup, it will bring together a field of 120 players competing in 72 holes by stroke play. All four rounds will be televised worldwide through the PGA TOUR’s extensive television distribution network, including Golf Channel in the United States and Golf Channel Latin America in Mexico and throughout Latin America. PGA TOUR coverage is internationally available in over 200 countries and territories in 26 languages through 44 broadcast and digital media partners.
