On 12 April 2025, the spectacular gastronomic scene of Los Cabos comes together in an unprecedented event: Chefs for Los Cabos. The event will take place at Suelo Sur, San José del Cabo, where the best culinary talents of the destination will bring their creativity and passion for a noble cause.
From 5:00 pm, the doors will be open to welcome attendees to an evening that promises to delight the senses and, at the same time, transform lives. All proceeds from this special evening will go to three great causes that positively impact the community:
Sudcalifornian Food Bank (BAS)
With the funds raised, BAS will purchase a high-vacuum packaging machine, enabling it to improve the distribution of rescued food and reduce waste, benefiting those who need it most.
Butterflies of the Comedor Comunitario Todo por la Niñez (Community Dining Room All for Children)
This programme supports mothers in vulnerable situations by training them in the preparation and sale of food. The training they receive gives them the tools to generate sustainable income and improve their quality of life.
Santiago Fire Station
The event will also contribute to the purchase of two large-capacity water tankers and an emergency pump, strengthening the fire brigade’s infrastructure and ensuring a better response to fires and other emergencies.
As in every edition, the event will start at 5:00 PM and the doors will close at 7:00 PM. “From 5:00 to 6:00 PM, the cocktail reception will occur, and from 6:00 PM until closing, the kitchen will remain open until 9:00 PM. We ask for punctuality”, said chef Edgar Román, in charge of the oratory during the press conference at Suelo Sur.
