VOICES THAT BUILD LOS CABOS | People who have helped shape the destination through creativity, community, and long-term vision.

“Every home becomes a living collection, shaped by travel, memory, and objects chosen over a lifetime.”

Jazz Rodríguez’s career has been shaped by experiences in communication and administration. Working alongside her father, she learned and developed skills in logistics and accounting. Frequent relocations due to her father’s profession strengthened her appreciation for design and her ability to adapt to new environments.

A master’s degree in television production in Madrid gave her a different perspective on space, light, framing, and accessories. Her passion for design grew over time, beginning with a personal collection and evolving into a carefully curated selection based on her clients’ tastes. Continuous training through design courses and hands-on work with sketches allowed her to become directly involved in projects, guiding clients through every stage and ensuring the company’s constant evolution.

The Origin of Haute Galleria Haute Galleria is a space that originated in Los Cabos 12 years ago and has since become a leading name in the city’s interior design scene. Their offerings include comprehensive solutions for hotel, restaurant, and residential projects, as well as carefully curated furniture packages for rental properties.

With a vision that blends functionality, aesthetics, and context, Haute Galleria has become a key partner for architects, designers, and developers seeking to bring their spaces to life. And undoubtedly, it’s a valuable resource for those relocating to Los Cabos and seeking a reliable source for home décor.

The inspiration behind Haute Galleria was to introduce a concept that did not yet exist in Los Cabos. While searching for furniture for homes, Jazz noticed the limited options available. Recognizing an unmet need, she decided to open a décor store. What began as a hobby, supported by friends and family, quickly turned into a full-time endeavor thanks to its positive reception and success.

The first location in Santa Carmela was key, fostering a sense of community among locals and new residents. This closeness created strong bonds, turning Haute Galleria into a place for connection and gathering. The transition to a showroom and a new location has not changed that relationship, as clients continue to return.

“Passion and intensity are reflected in every project”

Personalized service and the ability to quickly understand each client’s needs strengthen these relationships, allowing spaces to be transformed through small changes while making the most of what already exists in the home. The personal brand and the company are intrinsically linked, representing values such as quality, punctuality, and teamwork. For Jazz, being recognized for her projects is a source of pride.

As the company has grown, Haute Galleria has also established itself as a furniture distributor for the hospitality industry and for designers, managing both national and international brands and overcoming the logistical challenges of Los Cabos. The team and suppliers have been trained to ensure products arrive in perfect condition and meet the highest standards such as: Andreu World, Camerich, Desiree, Hooker Furniture, Sunpan, Classic Home, Varaschin, Uttermost, Moderest.

The real estate market in Los Cabos has evolved, incorporating segments such as Airbnb rental apartments alongside luxury residences. Furniture offerings adapt to these needs, prioritizing quality, durability, and design, while avoiding low-quality products.

Reflections and Experiences The climate and seasons in Los Cabos influence design choices, considering textures, sizes, colors, and materials. Although life revolves around the beach, people seek diverse styles—from the relaxed, traditional Cabo aesthetic to environments rooted in Texas, California, or Mexico City. The goal is to create designs that adapt to each client’s style and personality by listening to their stories and drawing inspiration from who they are and how they will enjoy their home. The space should carry their name and may become a collection of pieces acquired throughout their life.

Design requests are varied, such as the desire for an armchair in which one can get lost and feel embraced. Spaces should contribute to happiness and comfort, as lifestyle is deeply personal.

Inspiration comes from a blend of trends, the creativity of Mexican artisans, and travel experiences—even from historic hotels. Human connection and interaction generate new ideas. Visits to places like Oaxaca reveal the incredible level of artisanal craftsmanship. Many clients seek unique pieces made in Mexico to decorate their homes, and working with master artisans allows for innovation and mutual growth, sharing the adrenaline of creativity.

Strong Relationships and the Cyclical Nature of Los Cabos Respect and strong relationships are a priority, as Los Cabos is a small and cyclical community. Family and business values have enabled Jazz to grow and maintain a positive reputation for more than twelve years. Design has evolved, opening itself to different generations, construction types, and investment styles. Recognition for her work is a source of pride and fulfillment, further solidifying Jazz’s career.

Her gratitude toward Los Cabos and its people runs deep. It is a privileged place where many dream of retiring, becoming part of the community, and contributing to its development—a luxury that is truly enjoyed.
