Los Cabos Open of Surf created by Abelardo Juarez and Ulises Torre in 2012, to share their passion for surfing, year after year they celebrate a lifestyle of sun and beach in Los Cabos.
On this edition Los Cabos Open of Surf evolutions to become one of the most iconic surfing parties, taking place on Monumentos beach, with The Cape a Thompson Hotel as the main host. The imposing Arch of Cabo San Lucas that could be seen in the distance, made this venue the perfect stage.
The energy of both the attendees and the surfers could be felt! Between the emotion of the competitors entering the sea and giving the best of themselves and, all the attendees having fun, the adrenaline was at high.
Both locals and visitors were sitting in the sand with snacks and beer, enjoying the enigmatic event and followed the master of ceremony, who, through a microphone, narrate what was happening in the ocean.
Although it is an event that depends on the weather condition, the waves were immense. The different types of blue blended perfectly with the golden sand, and DJ music and incredible service offered at The Cape was ideal to be entertained for hours!
Soft Top Soiree is an exhibition that was attended by different world-renowned surfers such as Rob Machado, Josh Kerr, Kalani Robb, Jhony Corzo, Mich Blair Conklin, Sage Erickson, and Anastasia Ashley.
When the surfers finished with the time required to surf, you could see them talking and enjoying the day, smiling because they are at a tourist destination such like Los Cabos and with the accessibility of taking pictures and chatting with those who wanted to meet them and, thus, save a memory.
One of the winners of Los Cabos Open of Surf 2019 was Mexican Jhony Corzo in the category of the best trick, while the final was disputed at the hands of the Australians, Josh Kerr, and Mitch Coleborn.
After 7 years, Los Cabos Open of Surf continues to break waves and present a show that leaves more than one with eyes wide open, thanks to the physical strength of the surfers, the great atmosphere and, of course, a stunning scenario.
