After nine years as a publishing house, magazine and media group in Baja California Sur, Tendencia presents Tendencia Kids, a guide that promotes values, general culture, trending topics, environment and education for children from 6 to 12 years.
Tendencia Kids emerges from the need to have a fun tool focused on all children of the South Californian territory to encourage reading skills, through images and texts, about the real world. We know that the children of the new generations are born in the era of immediacy and connection, and values have been lost over time.
For this reason, Tendencia Kids aims to recover face-to-face teaching and the importance of outdoor activities, solving riddles and reading books.
Tendencia Kids is a guide that will be published according to the seasons of the year: summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Our first edition launched this summer 2019, that seeks to make children get excited for summer activities like swimming in the beach while keeping in mind to take care of the environment and learning fun facts about it. For example, in cases of 8 years or more snorkeling with a whale shark! These activities are ideal and will bring them closer to understand better the place where they live.
In each of the seven sections of Tendencia Kids, children will get to know the regional history, art, nature, books, politics, other cultures and exercises where they are capable of introspection.
We intend to create a universe where they can consult information safely, warning them about the risks they may encounter, but also encouraging them to confront them, make wise decisions and believe they are capable of fulfilling their dreams.
The seven sections of Tendencia Kids are:
- Know Your World
- Inspectors and Inventors
- My Journey Through the World
- Super Kids
- Curious Facts
- Discovering Treasures
- Traveling Through Time
Along with these sections, four main characters will accompany your children. They are Bella, Matias, Ana, and Chuy, who will take a trip with your kids to see the real world.
