Among the trends in the realization of events presented during the forum, this time stands out as an opportunity to choose a new path. With the realization of hybrid events, create experiences to connect, seek changes in hospitality, maintain focus on the customer and generate value storytelling as a fundamental key. The comments of the attendees that were heard praised the organization team that had adapted in Los Cabos to receive travelers safely.

Los Cabos continues to be the avant-garde benchmark in the meeting planner’s industry, an essential sector in the economic reactivation. The PCMA Professional Exchange Management Association event was held on Saturday July 25th at the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, an all-inclusive experience.

More than 90 national and international professionals attended who shared practices and experiences in the work of congresses and conventions. This first face-to-face event followed to the letter the manual of health prevention measures for the management and execution of meetings and events, thus guaranteeing the safety of the attendees.

“For Los Cabos it is of great importance to show the industry that the destination is prepared to continue hosting world-class conventions and events, while also providing certainty that we have specialized personnel to guarantee the safety of the attendees”, said Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board.

It should be noted that Los Cabos is home to the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) for the fifth consecutive year. The event highlighted the importance of the destination as host of meetings of local, national and international scope, as well as showing the community that everything is possible with effort, innovation and organization.

The guests who participated in the panel:

  • Meredith Merril, Director of Care delivery programs, Optum.
  • Sara Haywood, Assistant Vice President, Conferences at the National Council for Behavioral Health.
  • Marie Lou Coupal, MMBC Director, Meetings Mean Business Canada.
