The Hospiten headquarters came to Mayan lands two decades ago, and it is now celebrating its 20th anniversary. Throughout the years, it has been committed to providing high-quality medical care to the community and the region.
Since its opening in Cancun, Hospiten has flourished and become a beacon of medical care in the region and different parts of Mexico, including Los Cabos.
Last week, a solemn act of recognition was held at the Hospiten Cancun facilities to honour the personnel who have been a fundamental part of its success since its inauguration. This event is not only a tribute to the past but also a vote of confidence in the future, as the hospital continues to be a point of reference in the region.
The event was attended by: Perla Aguilar Lara, General Director of the Institute of Social and Solidarity Economy, representing Mara Lezama, Governor of the State of Quintana Roo; Audelia Villarreal, Director of Ayuda a Corazón de Niño A.C. and Senator of the Republic in the 64th and 65th legislatures; Víctor Gutiérrez, Deputy Director of the Secretary of Health of the State of Quintana Roo and Mtro. Héctor González Rodríguez, representing the General Directorate of Public Health of the Benito Juárez City Hall, as well as Consular Representatives from different countries and prominent members of the hotel sector and civil associations in the State.
This anniversary holds special significance for the Hospiten Group as it marks the opening of its first hospital in Mexico, located in Cancun. They have expanded to five medical centres in Mexico, including Playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, San José del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas.
Currently, it operates 20 private medical centres in Spain, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Jamaica and Panama, as well as over 100 outpatient clinics under the Clinic Assist brand.
