The Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA) is proud to announce that its digital ecosystem, Visita Los Cabos, has been awarded the Platinum Award in the category of Website Design at the Hermes Creative Awards 2025, one of the most important international awards in digital media and communication.
“This award reflects Los Cabos’ commitment to innovation and excellence in tourism promotion. Our digital platform is an open invitation for travellers worldwide to discover and plan their experience in a destination that stands out for its beauty, accessibility and comprehensive offer,” said Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust.

Earlier this year, Los Cabos presented the evolution of its digital ecosystem with an innovative leap into the metaverse. In collaboration with NOSTRA, it launched a virtual museum comprising four themed domes and a main hall, where visitors can interactively and educationally explore the destination’s cultural, natural, and gastronomic richness.
The “Los Cabosverse” feature takes digital exploration to the next level, offering immersive virtual tours of luxury resorts, pristine beaches and hidden gems of the destination. Accessible from both Oculus glasses and web browsers, this experience allows users to “visit” Los Cabos before booking, transforming inspiration into action.
Visita Los Cabos’ revamped website represents a significant advancement in the way travellers plan their holidays. It offers an immersive experience that combines the aesthetics of a digital magazine with intuitive, user-friendly navigation. More than a tourism information portal, the site has become a dynamic gateway that invites you to discover the magic of the destination, facilitating trip planning as an inspiring and entertaining experience.
Los Cabos has become the first destination in Mexico to prioritize digital accessibility through a strategic alliance with AudioEye, ensuring that people with different abilities can fully explore and enjoy the website’s content. This initiative breaks down barriers and reaffirms Los Cabos’ commitment to inclusion and universal hospitality.
The website integrates interactive tools such as real-time flight maps, 360-degree virtual tours, and traveller-generated content through the CrowdRiff platform. This platform showcases the authenticity and beauty of the destination from the perspective of its visitors. With millions of unique users already interacting with the platform, this digital experience is designed to elevate the engagement and excitement of planning a trip to Los Cabos.
