On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, tournament officials presented the final details for the World Wide Technology Championship, the PGA TOUR’s longest-running and most historic event in Mexico and Latin America, which is set to take place for the second time at El Cardonal Golf Course at Diamante Cabo San Lucas during the week of November 4 to 10, 2024. It will celebrate its 18th edition and keep the Mexican golfing tradition alive in one of the most prestigious destinations in the entire continent.

This will be the fourth edition with World Wide Technology as the title sponsor, extending its sporting legacy across the continent. For the second consecutive year, the official venue will be Diamante and the Los Cabos region, noted and celebrated for its stunning scenery, hospitality, and contribution to the growth of golf across the country.

In addition to world-class golf, the event will feature thought-provoking business sessions to stimulate thought leadership and exclusive networking events with leading industry executives. In 2023, the expectations of this new alliance between an internationally renowned company, a stunning and challenging course for the best players in the world and a perfect destination for the top golf circuit were exceeded, so for 2024, many surprises were prepared for the fans who will be present during the week of the tournament.

Each year, the World Wide Technology Championship prides itself on showcasing the best golf talent while highlighting leadership, technological innovation, and diversity to impact local communities in Mexico worldwide positively. It has also played a leading role in boosting national talent on this stage, with 28 Tricolor golfers participating over 18 years. “As the PGA TOUR’s pioneering event in Mexico and Latin America, we are honoured to continue the tradition of hosting the world’s best golfers in what is sure to be the best sporting event of the year,” said Joe Mazzeo, Tournament Director.

The PGA TOUR is the stage for the world’s best golfers competing on the world’s most iconic golf courses, and as part of the FedExCup, it will bring together a field of 120 players competing in 72 holes by stroke play. All four rounds will be televised worldwide through the PGA TOUR’s extensive television distribution network, including Golf Channel in the United States and Golf Channel Latin America in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
General admission tickets provide admission to the golf course and tournament facilities as well as the various special events and gourmet concessions options. Two children 15 and under are admitted free, accompanied by a ticketed adult. Hospitality areas are also available for purchase, from Tacos on 17 by La Lupita, which offers an exclusive party venue with exquisite Mexican cuisine, to private suites and more exclusive hospitality venues such as The Woods and The Skybox.
