Last Saturday the 23 of March took place the Professional Exchange panel in Los Cabos 2019 thanks to the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) in collaboration with the Fideicomiso de Turismo de Los Cabos (FITURCA) in JW Marriot hotel, Puerto Los Cabos.
The panel directed the strategic points and upcoming challenges for meeting tourism, an essential industry for the economy of Mexico and all over the world.
At the conference, they discussed the benefits and challenges that Los Cabos has, in which six of the panelists of different countries talked shortly about their points of view according to their work areas and roles as meeting planners.
Meeting planners are qualified professionals to organize and execute events of international size in several strategic points, creating unique proposals for each meeting.
In the panel, topics as the importance of taking quick decisions and being in the immediacy, offering the client precisely the right product according to their project, taking certifications and acquiring the necessary knowledge to be proactive, and, also, of presenting visual products that appeal to emotions.
In consequence, the panelist reiterated the huge economic impact for destinations that meeting tourism represent and how we should always stay at the avant-garde, with the best client service, compelling events and working together.
On the other hand, the PCMA and FITURCA reemphasized the meeting tourism to strengthen the destination strategy so we can produce quality events.
