From October 25 to 28, the Magic Town of Loreto in Baja California Sur will host the eighth edition of the most important event for the Adventure and Nature Tourism industry in Mexico and Latin America. The 2020 edition promotes a great reflection on how we should reimagine tourism, with sustainable tourism experiences and favorite natural places among tourists seeking to have a travel purpose.
Adventure Travel México (ATMEX) is a business and strategic relationship event dedicated to the regeneration, strengthening and growth of the Adventure and Nature Tourism industry through strategic alliances between buyers, suppliers and specialized media, as well as the professionalization of the industry through an academic program dedicated to sharing standards, trends, success stories and best practices in Mexico and worldwide.
The virtual format has favored by opening the doors of the forum to more than 1,000 delegates, more than 80 national and international buyers and more than 20 specialized media in the adventure and nature segment.

In addition to being an event with a broad academic program, special activities will be added such as the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Mission of Loreto.
To conclude, the Secretary of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability of Baja California Sur, Mtro. Luis Humberto Araiza López highlighted that Baja California Sur is home to more than 43% of the country’s National Protected Areas and is the state with the highest number of Blue Flag certified beaches. For this reason, responsible tourism and sustainability is one of the priorities.
Loreto will be showing in all the public spaces of the virtual event, as well as in alternate broadcasts, but mainly at the business tables.
