Los Cabos Hotel Association welcomes 2021

The Los Cabos Hotel Association is a non-profit organization that seeks to safeguard all hotels’ interests in the tourist destination and create an excellent relationship with those who collaborate within the tourism world. In this way, the city is ready to receive national and international tourists, demonstrating the destination’s quality and organization.

In a press conference held last Friday, January 15, the Los Cabos Hotel Association announced the plans and expectations for 2021. Once again, they face significant challenges due to the global crisis generated by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

With this challenge on the ropes, the Association’s objective is to continue promoting biosecurity measures within each hotel and establishments that are a source of tourism. They mentioned that the recovery would be gradual, although their figures expect 2.5 million tourists for 2021, recalling that the reopening scenario is intrinsically linked to global behavior.

Another important topic discussed during breakfast at the Pueblo Bonito Rosé hotel was to work with different associations, which have the objective of showing that Los Cabos is ready to welcome tourists.

The hotel industry has always worked with forecasts, and the Association tries to understand tourists’ behavior to be prepared for the uncertainty of the virus. That is why the Los Cabos Hotel Association is a facilitator for all hotels. Now that testing is necessary for travelers, it has created the essential tools to make the service available.

The effort of all the committees that make up the Los Cabos Hotel Association table is to be applauded and admired. Each of its members has worked with a single front in the face of adversity, maintaining various regulations that allow tourists to feel at home.

The work would not be possible without these committees’ coordination, such as the safety committee headed by Mauricio Salicrup, the healthy committee with Ricardo Orozco, the training committee by Rau Chi, and the sustainability committee by Mauricio Quezada, among others.

We hope that the general assembly continues to participate effectively in the corresponding tasks and that the municipality’s growth is a subject of admiration among the other states of the Mexican Republic.
