In celebration of Mexican Wine Day, the first Mexican wine festival will be held at the Los Cabos Golf Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, from 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 7, 2023. It will also be an event that will benefit the education, youth and family support programs of Club Rotario Los Cabos.
The event will celebrate Mexico’s national wine and showcase the diverse flavours of its states. In addition, to honour the venue, we will serve wines grown and fermented in the desert of El Vizcaíno in Mulege. These wines are unique as they are the only ones produced in the desert and are sudcaliforniano wines! We will also present Rosé and Merlot wines from the wineries in Cuidad Constitucion in Comondu.
The event will feature wine bottles not only from Baja California Sur but also from various Mexican wineries like Chihuahua, San Luis Potosí, San Miguel de Allende, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, and many more. Additionally, local producers, including Baja Wines, will also be participating.
The press conference took place at the Cabo Wabo Cantina premises. The following individuals were present at the event: Jassiel Ceseña, who represented Professor Oscar Leggs Castro, Municipal President of the H. XIV City Hall of Los Cabos; Alejandra Guevara, who represented Donna Jeffries, Director of Municipal Tourism of the Los Cabos City Hall; José Gutiérrez, General Manager of the Los Cabos Golf Resort Trademark Collection by Wyndham; Linda McHatton, CEO of PR Solutions public relations agency and Vice President of the Los Cabos Rotary Club; Zulma Rodríguez, who is a member of the Cork Club and organizer of the Los Cabos Mexican Wine Festival; and Ariel Morgan Roberts Rivera, who is also a member of the Los Cabos Cork Club and organizer of the Los Cabos Mexican Wine Festival.
