Maribel Collins, the head of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism for the State of Baja California Sur, and Miguel Torruco, the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico, jointly inaugurated the Baja California Sur stand at the second edition of the “International Tianguis of Magical Towns” held in Los Angeles, California.
Loreto’s participation in events such as the International Tianguis of Magical Towns is crucial for showcasing and promoting the municipality’s rich cultural and natural diversity. As one of our country’s top international tourist markets, this presents an opportunity to attract more travellers to explore the region.
The Magical Towns of Santa Rosalia and Todos Santos are also being promoted simultaneously to promote these Southern California destinations’ cultural range and picturesque essence.
Loreto’s incredible historical heritage and impressive natural landscapes are being promoted through public and private initiatives. These islands boast a rich diversity of endemic flora and fauna, and their underwater life offers a contrasting range of experiences, from sighting blue whales to diving in the National Marine Park.
Baja California Sur now has three magical towns that preserve the Sudcalifornian character. These towns allow visitors to learn about the history and culture of “Other Mexico,” nationally and internationally.
