Los Cabos, B.C.S., August 19, 2024. Los Cabos again stood out as a leading tourism destination during Virtuoso Travel Week 2024, held August 10-15 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This event, one of the most important for the global tourism industry, brought together 5,000 representatives of the sector’s leading companies, including hotels, destinations, inbound and outbound tour operators, and specialized travel agents.
With its 14 hotels in the prestigious Virtuoso network, Los Cabos is a global leader in premium tourism. Its 18,600 high-end rooms make it a destination of choice for luxury travellers worldwide, setting it apart from any other destination within the Virtuoso network.

The event was also the stage to announce that Los Cabos has been nominated for the third consecutive year as the best destination management office in the world. This recognition underscores its leadership in the global tourism industry.
At Globetrotting, Los Cabos showcased its main attractions in an extensive 60 group sessions to 480 travel advisors, emphasizing the destination’s unique characteristics. Additionally, it hosted a luncheon attended by 1,200 industry representatives, during which the seven wonders of Los Cabos were presented, further solidifying its position as a distinct destination in the international tourism arena.
At an exclusive cocktail party hosted in collaboration with Virtuoso Hotels in Los Cabos, 100 of the destination’s top vendors gathered to strengthen key business relationships and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Rodrigo Esponda’s outstanding participation in the CEO Briefing, a forum that brought together 40 global leaders in the tourism industry to discuss industry trends and the sector’s future, left us feeling optimistic and forward-thinking.
Throughout the week, Los Cabos organized 64 one-on-one meetings with travel advisors and 20 meetings with media specializing in the premium tourism segment. These interactions were crucial for strengthening Los Cabos’ network of contacts. Additionally, a Wellness event was arranged for 60 Canadian travel agents, and a luncheon was held for 15 travel advisors in collaboration with ID Travel, reinforcing the partnership with key allies.
