From July 14 to 19, Los Cabos will once again become the professional tennis capital of Latin America with the 9th edition of the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo 2025, one of the most anticipated tournaments on the ATP circuit.
The Cabo Sports Complex will once again host the event, which will bring together a stellar line-up of international stars: Lorenzo Musetti, current World No. 7 and the first Top 10 player in the tournament’s history; Andrey Rublev, ATP No. 14 and holder of 17 titles; the talented Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina; the charismatic Canadian Denis Shapovalov; and Australian Jordan Thompson, defending champion in singles and doubles of the 2024 edition. Other standouts include 2021 winner Cameron Norrie, Frenchman Quentin Halys, and promising young Mexican Rodrigo Pacheco, who will participate as a wildcard.

During the official announcement, the Municipal Tourism Board highlighted the tournament’s impact not only on the sporting scene but also on tourism and the local economy. Paulina Villafaña, Events Coordinator, emphasized that the Mifel Tennis Open is an international showcase for the destination’s natural beauty, hospitality and growing economic dynamism.
In 2024, the tournament attracted more than 34,000 attendees and generated an economic revenue of over 129 million pesos. This year, with the return of the summer season, it is expected to exceed those figures, capitalizing on the improved weather conditions for visitors and players.

In addition to the on-court spectacle, the event will feature parallel activities, including Kids Nite, Mextenis Talks, the iconic Players Party, and international television coverage in more than 120 countries. Tickets are now available on the official website, loscabostennisopen.com.
