Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort will host the most significant business event in Los Cabos from November 13th to 16th, 2023. Sixty-nine tourism business partners from major outbound markets, such as the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will be in attendance. Additionally, seven business partners from emerging markets, including Australia, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom will be in attendance. These markets have experienced significant growth in the number of travellers visiting Los Cabos.
“Actively venturing into emerging markets is an opportunity to promote specific segments by taking advantage of the solid air connectivity and, thus, bringing the wide range of tourism and business offerings to potential travellers and industry members through a strategy that integrates specific actions that encourage their growth,” said Rodrigo Esponda, Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust.
It’s important to note that the promotional strategy aimed to diversify the flow of visitors in the medium term by boosting the development of emerging markets and showcasing the vast tourism offer that Los Cabos provides.
During the event, an Advisory Board conducted a session in which 69 business partners attended. The session involved sharing the actions carried out during 2023 and discussing the strategy for 2024. The strategy’s main objective is to strengthen Los Cabos’ presence in the issuing markets.
Furthermore, this event promotes social responsibility to support the Fundación Corazón de Niño. Fundación Corazón de Niño is dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with congenital heart disease in Baja California Sur.
During the three-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the diverse range of tourism services offered in Los Cabos. The event will showcase 13 developments that offer luxurious accommodations under the Virtuoso brand, providing access to 2,000 rooms for visitors to choose from.
With over 18,000 rooms, 500 weekly flights to leading cities, and a vast selection of wellness, gastronomic, and adventure experiences, this destination offers robust air connectivity and unparalleled experiences.
Los Cabos’ leadership will be boosted by 2024 by expanding its hotel offering with seven new hotels and increasing the number of airline seats to attract more visitors and provide certainty among key industry players.
