Inspired by the desert, vegetation and adobe buildings, Brazilian architect Arthur Casas has combined local elements to create the multicultural and cosmopolitan design of the TORO Latin Kitchen & Bar.
Colonial architecture served as the inspiration for the entry but the iron bar guardrails have been replaced with steel cables and the side walls are open to the views. As a result, the project has earned the name “box in the desert.”
You just have to walk in to be impressed, not only by the cuisine but by the architectural elements. Rustic furniture reminiscent of traditional markets, local hand crafted decorative elements and multicolored prints complement the warm tones. Italian art covered in fabrics is also located throughout the setting.
