The legacy of One&Only Palmilla 1956 – 2020

One&Only experiences are based on authenticity, warmth, and a heartful service, which makes the travelers feel as if they were at home. Since today, the resort reopens its doors and tells the world they are open for business.

If we go back to the past, One&Only Palmilla is one of the most prestigious hotels in Los Cabos and a school that built the meaning of hotelier in the present.

For starters, we need to talk about Edward T. Steiner, considered the father of ultra-luxury hotels in Mexico. Steiner proposed the iconic gesture of the hand in your chest as a way of greeting the guest. And when it comes to awards, Conde Nast Traveller, a well-known luxury magazine, has awarded the resort as one of the world’s best.

After many years, One&Only Palmilla is still something else when it comes to hospitality and places a precedent for the client’s service. This type of attention is worth mentioning and being praised because it allows us to be a destination with beautiful sceneries and incredible people.

If we talk about luxury, there are nine One&Only in the world. Because of that matter, when we talk about hotels, the brand is one of the firsts to come up. The new leader, Philippe Zuber, it’s the mind behind the greatness and knows exactly what he needs to do, so in each continent, where there is a One&Only, your expectations are overcome.

The five pillars are warmth, empathy, anticipation, precision, and creativity, the service’s philosophy for the brand. It reminds the guest —which is demanding and loyal— that One&Only Palmilla is back since October 29th of 2020.

As part of the new opening, the resort will allow travelers to choose from Hollywood Nights, Mixology with a Twist, and Culinary Classes. These activities are at the guest’s disposal with the amenities and the soaking sun of the peninsula.

This only reassures the legacy of One&Only Palmilla.
