Promoting reading, within the facilities of the Technological Institute of Higher Studies (ITES) Los Cabos campus, supported by the government of the State of Baja California Sur, on May 11, the presentation of the book “Las Sentinas del Alma” was held, written by Professor Omar Castro.
Government and school authorities were present during the proem, as well as special guests recognized by the South Californian community.
The dynamic was a round table given by Ángel Meneses and Ana María Ledesma students of the 6th and 4th semesters of Engineering in Administration and Gabriel Salvador Fonseca Verdugo: Writer and municipal chronicler, volunteer readers to publicize the most symbolic points of the reading.
At the end of the observations, there was a space for questions, answers, and congratulations to the author for his work.

At the end of the event, the literary space was presented along with its mural where the most representative texts of basic reading were captured, a place for ITES students to resume the habit of reading. Maestro Castro signed his copies accompanied by a musical intervention by Santiago Lomelí.
