Last night, February 19th, 2024, players and special guests enjoyed one last toast before the week of games: a “Players White Party” to honour the white sport.
After lectures, Tennis Talks, and the doubles match, the attendees dressed up as bankers and went to the distinguished ToroLatinKitchen restaurant. The venue was decorated in the same tone, and at the main entrance, they were welcomed with a photographic backdrop and a cocktail. In addition, guests were delighted with different gourmet dishes, full of Latin American flavour and their famous spectacular techniques, accompanied by refreshing mixology.
The DJ spun tracks that perfectly set the tone for the party, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that set the stage for a fantastic night. Undoubtedly, it is an excellent way to calm the mind and soul of the player and to enjoy Los Cabos, the host destination.
“It’s a great schedule, having the two tournaments back to back, it makes sense to a lot of us players. I hope it stays that way; it’s become one of my favourite stops of the year,” shared Casper Ruud, ranked #2.
“Perfect scheduling; I hope it stays that way. It’s one of the strongest 250s out there, and many players understand that it’s a great preparation for the North American swing, AND we have whales jumping in the ocean!” said Alexander Zverev.
The Players’ White Party is an excellent opportunity for players to come together and kick off the week of competition on a positive note. It’s also an ideal occasion for players and guests to enjoy downtime away from the sport.
