Food & Equipment Expo 2019 opened its doors to the tourist and restaurant industry of Los Cabos with great success in a varied display of products and brands for the benefit of customers in the magnificent facilities of the Hilton Hotel, located in the tourist corridor.  

At the opening ceremony, the president of CANACO Los Cabos Mr. Ignacio Labandeira, Karla Cruz Sales Director of US Foods of Mexico and Alfredo Monterrubio General Manager of US Foods of Mexico were present for the inauguration.  

Important personalities of the restaurant and business sector were also present in this important event like the renowned Chefs Alberto Collarte, Christian Ricci, Guillermo Tellez, Larby Dahrouch, Maximiliano Rios, and the president of AMEXME Chapter Los Cabos Ivett Bonifaz, who gathered to visit the spaces one by one of the exhibitions and interact and generate business directly with each supplier. 

Organic products, wines, kitchen equipment, fish and seafood, biodegradable supplies, gourmet cheeses, and charcuterie among many other options were part of this great event. 

Three seminars took place in the center of the room. The first was Spices and their Flavors: The Secret of our Flavors, taught by Nikkie Watson, where they talked about the production of spices. 

The second, Cold Pressed Grape Seed Oil was in charge of Valentin Humer and as a special guest, chef Guillermo Tellez, who gave a tasting of two dressings.  

The last seminar was from Hamilton Meat: Superior Quality Proteins by Dante Barron, presenting a cut of meat so that attendees could see its multiple uses in the kitchen. 

Food & Equipment Expo in its 6th edition is presented and coordinated by US Foods de Mexico, a company established in 2015 based on the Logistic Port located next to the Los Cabos International Airport; US Foods is the largest importer of food, kitchen equipment, and supplies in our tourist destination.
