Hacienda Cocina & Cantina, a new pairing experience
From a revolutionary origin to becoming the star of several films in the golden age of Mexican cinema, cantinas have become the symbol of a longed-for prominent era of Mexico.
Hacienda Cocina & Cantina takes you back to the original bars of Mexico. Each cocktail is accompanied by an appetizer that will surely leave you wanting the full dish!
[two_first]Among the most popular La Cantina drinks are El Alacran, a hybrid of mezcal and tequila with avocado, pineapple puree, cucumber, a frosting of spiced salt and La Catrina with a reduction of cempaxuchitl petals, mezcal and agave honey. Or, the iconic Margarita Cantina.
About 80 La Cantina infusions are prepared in house, including rosemary with Jamaican tamarind, star anise and cardamom. In addition, other homemade preparations include citrus and chili bitters; grasshoppers with spiced or pineapple salts; dried garnishes of lemon, orange, grapefruit or pineapple; lemongrass or other natural syrups and cured strawberries, berries, oats and pineapple pulque.

Hacienda Cocina & Cantina presents a new concept by bringing the art of pairing food with mixology based on legendary Mexican distillates: pulque, mezcal and tequila!
The commitment to highlight Mexican traditions is complemented by the combination of representative Mexican appetizers such as tlacoyo, sope, gorditas or something exotic such as chapulin (grasshopper) tacos.
The main objective of all pairings is to combine food and drinks that achieve a perfect union between the different notes of flavors. Without a doubt, La Cantina has achieved its mission. It’s like playing the traditional Mexican lottery and the winner receives a little jar of pulque.
