The semi-finals of Mextenis 2023 left us in awe.

The semifinals of the 2023 Mifel Tennis Open keep fans on the edge of their seats! Undoubtedly, the event’s attendees are living an unforgettable experience.

In yesterday’s doubles match, Santiago Gonzalez (MEX) and Roger-Vasselin (FRA) defeated Nicolas Barrientos (COL) and Andre Goransson (SWE) 6-7, 6-4, 10-8 after playing for two hours and one minute.

In singles play, Alex de Miñaur (AUS), currently ranked number 19, overcame Dominik Koepfer (DEU) in a two-hour 25-minute match.

Later, the highly anticipated match between Stefanos Tsitsipas (GR), who currently holds the fifth spot in the world rankings, and Borna Coric (HR) was a nail-biter. They were tied 3-3 in direct duels that determined the second finalist.

Stefanos scored 4-3 against the Croatian, and Coric was down 3-6 in the first set; by the second, his level dropped considerably. Tsitsipas won the match in one hour and 11 minutes, closing out the second set 6-2 without any setbacks.

The crowd’s support is famous, with emotional and encouraging expressions in the stands. The final will definitely keep us in high spirits; there is no doubt about it!

“Finals are a great feeling when you play them, and better if it’s in Mexico. It’s more spectacular because of the people here and the atmosphere generated in these tournaments,” commented Stefanos Tsitsipas after the match.
