Since 1877, American Humane has been committed to ensuring animals’ safety, welfare and well-being. In 2023, Cabo Adventures, a company specializing in outdoor and wilderness experiences in Los Cabos, joined the list of “Human Certified” labels after meeting the organization’s high standards.
The process utilized the latest technology alongside the knowledge and experience of a Scientific Advisory Group. This Group comprises respected veterinarians and experts in animal welfare, animal science, zoology and ethics who have worked in species protection for decades.
In addition to helping animals, Cabo Adventures demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility and building visitor trust.
It is standard procedure that the Scientific Advisory Group request an audit before the on-site visit to assess compliance with animal care and welfare parameters. The audit included the qualification of housing, feeding, water quality, lighting, shade, sound, activity levels, and training staff who interacted with the animals, with standards specific to each species to ensure compliance.
