The Californidad Day was a citizen’s proposal for residents and students to learn about the “Identity of California Day” within the municipality of Los Cabos. The goal was to raise awareness of the history of the Peninsula and its five townships.
On November 14th, 2023, the new generations will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Sudcalifornian area. This history includes the significance of names such as “Choyeros”, “Cabeños”, “Sudcaliforniano”, “Sanluqueños”, “Josefinos”, and “Mexicano”, as well as their academic relevance to state and local history. Organizers will program a range of educational activities to help promote this understanding.
Let’s celebrate the identity of Southern California!
