Festival de la Almeja Chocolata

Smoked clams are a thousand-year old Cochimie Indian tradition. The story behind this recipe has given rise to an entire celebration where you can enjoy stuffed, au gratin, pickled and smoked clams in a magical place that gave rise to the development of the peninsula.

Enjoy a gastronomic party, amateur ceviche contest and shore fishing tournament for children. It is a festival for the entire family!

Festival del Vino Misional

The main event is a contest between the different producers of artisanal wines made in the region. Producers participate from San Miguel and San Jose de Comondu, San Isidro and San Javier. The judges are sommeliers from Los Cabos.

Anyone can attend, but only regional producers compete, which makes discovering new wines even more interesting.

You can try homemade dishes and regional sweets made by village residents, as well as take home a bottle of your favorite wine.

Feria de la Pitahaya en Miraflores

The emblematic fruit, the base of the Californian food, cannot go without its own festival.

In addition to the tasting of dishes and desserts based on pitahaya, what makes this three-day fair notable is the “pitahayas parade” featuring unusual creations representative of the typical costume of Baja California Sur. Whoever has the best costume made of homemade embroidery becomes the queen of the Festival!

Sabor a Cabo Beerfest

Sabor a Cabo Rural

This flavorful event celebrates our rural roots and recipes. Traditional cooks sponsor chefs and teach them authentic methods for preparing recipes that have been handed down for generations. With Mexican games, live music, dancing and the natural environment, the Taste of the Rural Cape is the way to discover the country cuisine of South California.
